The Volksoper Wien has confirmed that its production of Tod Machover’s Schoenberg in Hollywood, originally scheduled for April 2020 but postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, is on the calendar for its 2022 season. This will be the European premier of Machover’s 2018 work, in a new production in the heart of Vienna, the city of Schoenberg’s birth and early career.
