Tod sends Halloween greetings from the fair city of Montreal, where he was paying a weekend visit to catch up with friends and check out the new concert hall. Took in an afternoon concert with the Montreal Symphony under the baton of maestro Kent Nagano. Did you know that Tod and Kent go back to college freshman days at the University of California, Santa Cruz? Tod remembers Kent as a devoted surfer and formidable cyclist. The new concert hall looks gorgeous and sounds spectacular.
