OPERA America has awarded a grant to the Boston Lyric Opera for “Schoenberg in Hollywood” by composer Tod Machover and librettist Simon Robson, which was commissioned for the BLO’s fall 2019 line-up. OPERA America announced grant awards for 11 opera companies through the Repertoire Development Grants program, supported by The Opera Fund. A total of $225,000 was awarded to 11 opera companies.
