“I just got to my hotel in Paris after a very delayed (air traffic controller strike:) flight from Nice and the longest taxi line at Orly airport that I’ve ever seen (and that’s saying a lot!!!). About to go to sleep so I can get up early and be at the press conference venue for a 7:30 am setup (so hopefully some other port in my computer doesn’t blow out the way it did last week).
We turned a corner just before getting to the small street where my hotel (nice place; thanks Chantal!) is located, when I saw another hotel, photo below. Granted that the neon for “Hotel” was out, it still seems a good omen that the “Powers” part was clear as day. Very nice to see.”
